Dear Whom it may concern,
We are Tavorn Tractor & Construction Ltd, Part. We are doing for the Project Used oil re-refinery project project (E-0702) in Thailand. We interest in your product and your technology for the used oil purification unit.
The preliminary information are as following
1. The capacity : 15,000 liter/day ( 2,000 liter/hr)
2. Raw material : Spent lube oil is generally a mixture of different types and grades of used lube oils, coming from automotive engine crankcases and from various industrial utilizations.
These contaminants can be generally summarized as follows:
1. Free and emulsified water (1-10% wt)
2. Light hydrocarbons (1-10%wt) like gasoline, gas oil,
3. Dust,
4. Metals (iron, copper, zinc, lead, calcium, phosphorus), resulting from engine wear and corrosion, gasoline additives, lube oil additives,
5. Halogenated compounds, originated from solvents,
6. Glycols, resulting from anti-freezing compounds used in engine cooling circuits,
7. Products of thermal degradation, like carbon, unsaturated hydrocarbons, polymers, asphaltenes,
8. Various compounds from lube oils additives packages (viscosity index improver, pour point depressant, detergents dispersant, antioxidant, etc) like synthetic polymers (mainly polymetacrylates and polyacrylates), phenols, phenates, sulfonates, phosphonates and tiophosphonates, amines
3. Process required:
1. To Pre-treatment and To remove water, gasoline
2. To remove gas oil and light hydrocarbon by Vacuum distillation and to recover base lube oils, eliminate heavy residues.
4. Process Description:
The re-refining process should be consists of
1. Pre-treatment unit
2. Water & Low boiling point hydrocabon unit To remove water, gasoline
3. Vacuum Distillation by Thin Film Evaporator
The process consists of the following basic steps each destined to selectively remove one or more categories of contaminants and recover a high quality lube oil product:
a) Pre-treatment: including preheating, chemical injection and dehydration to remove water, gasoline, light contaminants (solvents. Glycols, lighter organic) and separate heavy contaminants which remain in suspension in the oil,
b) Gas oil removal: to separate gas oil from the lube oil for flash point correction and recovery of a valuable gas oil fraction,
c) Vacuum distillation by Thin Film Evaporator: to separate lube oil components from “heavier than” contaminants.
